Ocean Links at Amelia Island Plantation winds along the Atlantic coast through six miles of natural sand dunes. The scenic seaside terrain covered with lagoons and marsh wetlands doubles as a nature tour in addition to providing an excellent round. With fairways and greens parallel to the island's beaches, golfers are treated to stunning oceanfront views.

Although it is only 6,100 yards from the back tees, the hard-to-read small greens, narrow fairways, and blustery sea breezes make the golf course play much longer. There are 10 holes that feature water hazards and five holes that play right on the Atlantic Ocean. Amelia Island Plantation also offers two other 18-hole courses in addition to Ocean Links.

The No. 4 green sits nestled among the beach dunes. The fifth hole is the first of back-to-back par 3s on the front side of Ocean Links. No. 5's green is only 15 feet deep by 40 feet wide, and slopes dramatically toward the sand. A tee shot from atop a beach dune to a bowl-shaped green awaits at the 178-yard sixth hole. Ocean Links' 18th green sticks out into a pond across from the seventh fairway.Cut back toward the beach, No. 15 is the best of Ocean Links' six par 3s. The 15th hole requires a 187-yard uphill carry to a green stacked atop a large dune.
