As a new golfer the wide fairways are very helpful. There aren't a lot of hazards to deal with but the small greens mean you have to really pitch and chip well.
The overall care of the course is improving with many of the fairways looking good (even in winter). There is a very limited pro-shop and I haven't found a hot meal but if you want to golf c'mon down.

I've played a few courses in the area and with the current management Fiddler's Green is well on it's way to become THE public course to play.
