You can dial in the distance that is just right for you.
The golf course bumps up against a wildlife refuge, creating a tranquil, peaceful setting, particularly on holes 16 and 17.
It's also a watery endeavor, with either marsh or open water on 14 holes, sometimes across the fairway, sometimes along the side. The course also placed bunkers in just the right spots to swallow up failed shots but allow good shots to pass.
The Country Club of Orange Park is a fair, somewhat forgiving golf course that puts you in control of your score.
