Selva Marina Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Florida
ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. -- Selva Marina Country Club laid out a course 50 years ago that is now classic. But it didn't stop there. It had the creativity to add some features that make it timeless and fresh, an unusual combination.
From a single swale that erupts on a fairway to a single tree right in the way, the course gives you challenge after challenge, few that are alike.
It's a fun golf course. And with five tee boxes from 7,000 yards down to 5,340, it's accessible for everyone, including walkers. It also offers great service, from your arrival to departure, and some really classy accommodations.
The club is under continuous improvement, steered by its new management company, Hampton Golf. The changes already are apparent, from fresh paint and carpeting to heightened staff training and course conditioning. This course could very easily climb the rankings charts.
