Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Poor Greens...Review from +2.1 handicap.
Have played the course many times some years back and was looking forward to playing it again. Tee to green the course was in good condition, no real complaints. However, as soon as I stepped on the greens I was disappointed. Greens are still showing signs of being punched and wouldn't react to chips, pitches, and putts with any consistency. Some chips/pitches would hit the green and immediately kick left or right, some would release, and others would roll out. Depended greatly on whether you hit an old punch mark, or soft area of the green. Very inconsistent rollout.
Course
This course was outstanding! First time playing and I just felt calm and collected wile playing! Amazing shots and the layout was great! Will be back as soon as opportunities hit!
Hate playing with Members
Hate playing with Members! This particular round was NOT fun my wife and I. Paired up with two members with their own carts without governors so they speed out in front us every time and stayed there from tee to green. There were many times each hole these two members showed ZERO GOLF ETTIQUOTE both in or out of their carts! One of the worst golf experiences I have had in over 55 years of playing. The only way I will play Eagle Landing GC on a weekend day is if I have my own foursome. After paying $183.00 I demand a refund!!!
Eagle Landing GC delivers
Eagle Landing GC from tee to green is the best I've seen. The only bad lye is the you hit off the tee. Greens have recovered from aerations and are running smooth and fast. Bottom line best affordable course in the greater Jacksonville area.
Ranger sucks #1 Not a friendly
#2 Cart boy the worst
handicap play can’t even rides golf carts closer than 20ft and they out of there property’ never go play there again
They are still at it!
The staff at EL continue to impress me! The conditions are good, rough may be a little long for some, but awesome! Today they had a golfer park on a fringe pin high and they asked him to leave! I love it! Keep it up EL! Hot deal seekers beware! Act a fool and EL giving you the boot!
Keep those conditions up! Throw out the trouble! Us golfers appreciate it!
Eagle Landing, Orange Park Florida
Very fun course. Always well maintained and a good variety of tee boxes to challenge your average hacker as well as the lower handicapped players.
Another go around still no.
Greens are still in disrepair after a couple months of waiting and attempting for the third time, still not playable.
What a great day
Other than the really angry old guy working the driving range , this was a great day. Greens are still recovering from getting punched, and probably a month from being perfect, but rolled pretty good. The Pro shop and restaurant are always spot on and they probably have one of the best club sandwiches around. I can't wait to go play this place again.
