Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Great course BUT!
I’ve played Eagle Landing ever since the first weekend it opened and always loved the course. I moved away from the area and occasionally I’m back in the Orange Park area and always play there when I’m there. The last few times I played the starter (the one on oxygen) has been a total jerk. He is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. He’s always been rude but he’s getting much worse. There are plenty of good golf courses in the Jacksonville area and I’m sure he’s caused some people to choose other places to play.
Again & Again
This place is sooo good! The work they are constantly doing is amazing. I love to see it! I always call the pro shop before booking. The folks in the shop are always happy to talk! Especially in the afternoons. BEST course in the area! I hope they get more bad reviews, so it’s easier to play 36 or more on the weekends!
Horrible Conditions
This was my first time playing this course and for the high price of $85/person you would expect better. The greens were just punched and the fridge was horrible. They should inform people before paying that the course is not up to par or offer discounted rates. If I ever play here again I'll make sure to ask. Also the staff in the pro shop is useless.
Poor Greens
Overall the course was in good condition but the greens had just been sanded and the collars are under repair. If I had been notified of this I would not have booked my round here.
Do not play here.
Greens aerated without discount, and tee boxes
Makes the course in playable.
Also green fringe replacement was being done with dead brown grass, play anywhere else for $65/85….
Great course and great amenities.
Love hanging out after a fabulous round here. Most courses don't have a clubhouse like this one.
Great course as always !
Course always plays well and is in great shape ! Was a little frustrating that it was “cart path only” however that’s Mother Nature not the staffs fault ! Will be back soon !
Consistent
For a course that gets a lot of play it is in better than average shape. The pace of play is ok, but they need to watch letting singles/doubles out when it is busy.
The club house is popular and can get noisy and seems to always be untidy. Stuff all over the place.
Overall good and I would go back.
Great Course
I only wish it was easier to get a weekend tee-time.
Blended tees
For the 60 years I have played the red tees have always been regarded as the ladies tees You should change the red tees to gold or silver and make that the ‘blended’. Change the gold tees to red. Most men probably won’t play the current blended simply because the blend is with red. Thanks.
