This course is cool....
For a nine holed course, its a challenging and fun time. This is my local course and I play here 2-3 time a week. Don't let the fact that there are no bunkers or water trick you into thinking its going to be a birdie friendly course! It has deep woods along all fairways, and you can lose your ball with just the slightest roll off of the fairway. The fairways are average in width, ahd the greens aren't too bad, could use a little more cushion. Definately don't take this course for granted. For the extremely reasonable price, you won't be disappointed.
Great course for the money
The course is overall in good shape. The tee boxes could use some attention. The greens had some bare spots but overall okay.
Nice little course on the northside.
I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super friendly. Course is maintained pretty well, Fairways were a little bare but once the weather starts to stay warm i think they'll come in nicely. Course has a few tough holes which require precision. There are some lakes you can't see from some of the tees. Pace of play was good. I got chased away by the rain after 9 holes. I was given a rain check with no problems. I look forward to returning.
Nice staff. Good value.
Typical winter conditions on the fairways. Greens in good condition. Take the Hot Deal every time!
Good value for the money.
Value was good, Friendly staff. Only negative was relative shape of the course - overall rather rough.
Good and cheap
This is a fun little 9 hole course to play if you want to test your clubs on a course and not have people running up behind you. I'm easily a 20+ handicap and I hit just 9 over. The Tee boxes needed a lot of TLC but the greens were surprisingly very well maintained. I paid $10 and got my money's worth.
Course in good condition
I enjoyed playing the different courses offered because of the prices and the playing conditions
Good course.
I like Blue Cypress - very friendly staff with flexibility. The fairways and greens were in great condition and even though this is an easier course, it is also very narrow which makes for a good challenge.
This course is moderate for the seasoned player.
The greens are exceptional but the fairways could use some work. Most players walk which increases play times.
This course needs a lot of work
I've played the course once and most likely will not play again. Playing a 9 hole course twice to equal 18 holes can be challenging because the course gets crowded very easily and it makes for a long day.
They need to add more signage between holes because it's easy to get confused where the next hole is.
The entire course from the tee box to the fairways need to be maintained better. The grass in a lot of spots is not normal golf course grass, it's a mixture of other types of grass.
Great Value!
This was my first time playing this course and it really impressed me, especially for the price. Staff was friendly, I didnt have my print out confirmation that I had prepaid but the attendant didnt make a huge deal and allowed us to play, appreciate that. The greens were pristine! Although it's only a 9 hole course it was kind of neat to see if you could better your first 9. This course is a total hidden gem.
Good course, fun to play.
Showed up for a Saturday morning tee time and there was a local tournament going on. No problem, let us start on 5. Fun course, most holes are pretty straight, a few have water that can come into play. Greens were in good shape. The two par 3's are enjoyable, and the two par 5's are not all that bad. Went around the course twice for 18 holes. For $13 with a cart on a weekend it was definitely a great deal. Worth the trip across town to try a new (to me) course.
The course is nice for walking and playing locally everyday.
Great value for the money. Good course to teach on and play on every day if retired or live close to it and there is a park and other things for the family to do like swim, walk, play ball, etc.
Very good course
Very good course for the price. Only 9 holes so you play them twice but for $10 including a cart you can't beat it!
Nice, easy layout......
I play here alot.. Between this place and first tee of Jax, good course to learn.
Great for the money
Felt good playing this course! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Good course for practice and beginners.
Nice open fairways and decent greens. Good price to get in a fun round of golf.
Great Priced Practice Round
This is not the nicest course or the most challenging. It's maintained but not in terrific shape. But for everything it's not, I had a GREAT time playing here. The staff is really nice and welcoming. The price is fantastic! My thought, instead of 10 bucks on the range, try 10 bucks and some real practice around a course. Like I said, not in terrific shape but if you are just interested in giving the ball a whack for a good price you won't be disappointed. I had a blast and would recommend.
Good for beginners
This course is inexpensive and you get what you pay for. For someone new to the game however, it's ideal.
