Eagle Landing Golf Club
About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Excellent Condition
Course was in excellent condition; wide fairways did not present a great challenge off the tee. However, the speed of the greens will make scores balloon!
Crew training
Always love coming out to Eagle Landing. Course is in outstanding condition and it’s nice to see improvements always being made. Golf course superintendent needs to spend some time training setup crew. Tee markers need to be more than 2 paces apart from one another and whomever is cutting cups needs a lesson. Cups are constantly cut perpendicular to the slope where they are placed. They need to be cut STRAIGHT up and down to keep the pin from leaning. I’ve seen it there before but last Thursday it was really bad….
Great course!
Very well taken care of course! Would play here again in a heartbeat. Wish the price was a little lower though
Great price Great course
Course was in great shape and we got a killer deal for the round. Only thing to look out for are those monster ducks that will hunt you down if you open a bag of chips.
Jim
Course was in good overall shape, however there was no mention of the greens being recently air rated.
Former course ranger
This.is one of if not the best maintained course in Jacksonville
Great Course
Everything was fantastic. The course was perfectly manicured. A fair challenging 18 holes.
I thought pace of play was slow but we finished in 4:20 minutes. Outstanding
This place never disappoints
Golf course in excellent condition. Greens perfect putt making speed - smooth and pretty quick, but not so fast you are afraid to hit it. Restaurant and Beverage Staff friendly, as always. I could play here every day if I was retired.
Over All Experience
This Course Is Always In Great Condition. Staff Has Always Been Friendly. It So Nice That It's Always Packed But The Marshall Try To Do A Good Job Of Keeping The Pace Of Play Good. Water Coolers On The Course And Also A Very Nice Cart Person Providing Drinks During The Round. Never Dissapoints And Always Recommend To Friends And Fellow Golfers. Also Provide Discount For Retired Military . First Responders And Seniors As Well. Over All A Great Experience. Thanks Eagle Landing.
One of the best in Jacksonville area
This course is always busy because it is one of the top public courses in the area with private course quality.
Marshall’s need a little more assertiveness on an otherwise amazing course
First this imo is one of the best tracks and best value for money courses around and I drive 45 minutes to play it regularly. With that said the day I played there was too much waiting. The round was 5 hours and I was a 2 some so some waiting is expected and it was cart path only but we joined up with another twosome and their round was 5.5 hours. The Marshalls came around and were present, but they imo should have pushed a few groups to be faster.
The world needs more Eagle Landings
The course is in great shape! Currently CPO and will probably remain that way if the rain continues. Call ahead is CPO is a problem for you.
Definitely a must play for those looking for a course that cares about conditions!
Will NEVER Play here again!
Unbelievably rude staff, if you like a bunch of kids cursing and threatening you this is your place!
