Country Club of Orange Park

Not advised on Golfnow that greens had been aerated earlier in the week. Other than that greens had no bare spots and then in overall good condition. Due to a wet week a lot of areas were not mowed. Also was advised on pin position but holes 10 thru 13 were still previous days position.

This coarse has it's challenges but it is such a a relaxing atmosphere.It is in great condition love playing it.

Course is in very good shape, considering the drought conditions. We had a very enjoyable round and the pace was fine, we weren't held up at all. This course is a bit different than the standard back-and-forth community courses - you have to think about your shots and there are some challenging holes. The clubhouse is drab and old looking and sorely in need of modernization. Fortunately there was a beverage cart that made frequent stops and a snack bar and bathrooms at the turn. We will definitely play this one again.

Overall course maintenance was fantastic despite of drought in Florida this spring. There is lack of supervision on the course once blocked by slow (and serious) players. I'll try again.

Course was really good compared to others that cost a lot more. Staff was great, and treated all golfers really well.

This place is a real hit or miss. I've played when it was in great condition but now it is sliding back and has become just below average.

I love the layout of this course. It's one of those "fun" golf courses with some very interesting holes..I played from the whites (about 5800 yards), which was probably a little too short for me, but it did make for a few wedge approach shots, which I definitely enjoyed! Course was in good condition (if a little dry), and the greens were really rolling fast...the layout is the strong suit of this court...it's just a blast and I'm not sure why I don't play it more often!

Interesting and challenging course. Several carries required, including 2nd shot on opening hole.

Orange Park has it all, you must have every type of shot in your bag to play well here, and that is what I love about it. Day was windy and cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a great round. Greens were especially fast, considering it had rained the night before we played, which always is a challenge. Love playing here and you couldn't beat the price.

Over all I found the course to be in good condition greens and fairways in good shape as are most tee boxes. Lots of water and tree lined fairways make accuracy important, in good shape the greens rolled good and consistent. Pace of play went well for the most part of the day. Driving range is natural turf and large area for practicing your short game as well as a large practice green in front of the club house. You can get drinks and snacks most days at the snack shack at the 1st and 10th tees or the bar in the clubhouse. The Men's locker room is spacious with changing area and shower. I would recommend course.

Lots of water. Greens mowed and rolled. Very fast but true. Looking forward to playing again.

Greens a little slow, windy, but nice round, had fun!

We had a fantastic time at this course, fairways are in great shape, greens were lightening fast but in good shape. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our only issue was a member of the course hit our golf cart on the opposite fairway on 16 & 17 and proceeded to curse us like it was our fault he hit a bad ball, but other than that small incident, it was a great experience.

An enjoyable day - fast greens, maybe a little burned but well maintained. Similar for fairways. Liked the course layout and level of difficulty. Quite a bit of water but not too many forced carries.

Pro shop staff was courteous and helpful. Similar for the course staff we encountered while playing.

Very positive overall.
